Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have a steady stream of warm air course through your home with just the simple touch of a button? If so, you should look into purchasing a beautiful Lopi fireplace. Lopi fireplaces have been described as an "American Classic" and you only have to take one look at their selection of gas, pellet, and wood burning freestanding stoves and fireplace inserts to see why. Lopi was created in the mid-1970's by a man named Kurt Rumens who had originally started selling other manufacturers fireplaces to supplement his income as a musician. Now he is president of one of the biggest selling gas, pellet, and wood stove makers in America. Lopi has the most advanced pellet burning stoves on the market and also has one of the cleanest burning wood stoves in the United States. Lopi's pellet stoves blend wood burning with "solid state circuit controls" and this produces even warmth that you can create and control with the push of a button. Pellet stoves need less frequent tending to and can be controlled with a wall thermostat for convenience. The fuel for pellet stoves is created from wood waste that would have otherwise been put into landfills which is then essentially ground-up and made into pellets that are about 1/4" thick and about 1" long. These pellets are then placed into the storage hopper of your stove and can be ignited quickly by setting your thermostat or flipping your fireplace switch. A bonus with these pellet stoves is that many have a built-in blower that only functions when your fireplace is turned on. A Lopi gas stove enables you to have a beautiful realistic looking fire without having to handle any heavy wood (and the mess that usually goes along with it). Beautifully crafted, Lopi gas fireplaces and stoves can be placed virtually anywhere in your home (check manufacturer specifications), be it the bathroom, bedroom, living room or any other area you see fit to put one. Some of the gas fireplace inserts come with an automatic blower and solid brass doors with door options (including etched glass doors). Some of the free standing models come with a selection of legs to suit your taste, such as brass legs, steel legs, or even a pedestal base. You may even be able to have one of these fireplaces in your mobile home. Burning wood is one of the oldest methods of obtaining heat in the world. Lopi's woodburning stoves and fireplaces offer beauty and a much cheaper way to heat your home than gas, oil, or electricity. With heating oil and gas prices skyrocketing over the past couple of years, this is more important than ever. A five-sided convection chamber allows your wood burning Lopi to evenly distribute heat throughout your home and circulate the warm air. Did you know that you can also use the top of this fireplace or stove as a cooking surface? An added bonus to some of these stoves allows you to warm soups or fry up some bacon and eggs, which can be a big help if you should lose your power. Many of the wood burning fireplaces and stoves have a maximum burn time of 10 hours but can heat an up to 1,200 square foot area. Some models may limit your burn time to less, so always check the instructions. Whichever fireplace, stove, or insert you choose for your home, you are sure to be impressed by its quality and the overall beauty it adds to the room you put it in. |
